Nearly Dr. Ferox
I love this blog, so it was an easy choice for my first review. Ferox is a veterinary student in Australia. Her blog is a very interesting mix of the stories of the animals she sees, facinating and little known medical facts about animals, (do you know what a Freemartin is?) and life as a veterinary student in Australia.
Now for an almost veterinarian she has a great sense of style. The blog is well set up, easy to read, and I especially like the rotating graphic on the header. The green color is easy on the eyes, and the ads are not obtrusive. Most posts include a picture, and the pictures themselves can make it worth your time to check out the blog. Her writing style is friendly and easy to read. Almost like talking to a friend.
With so much to like, I almost hate to offer any criticism at all, but everyone has room for improvement. At Nearly Dr. Ferox, some posts are a little too short, I would like to learn more about a condition, or what you do in certain situations. I would also like to see Ferox on her own top level domain, however, with a PR of 2 and a pretty good following, I can see why she might not want to change!
In short, Nearly Dr. Ferox is an interesting blog about a young veterinary student and the animals she cares for. It is a great read for just about everyone.
