Today I am going to review one of my favorite personal blogs. Katalina Mau
Katalina writes on a variety of subjects. She has quite a few travel posts, including a series on a whitewater rafting trip down the Grand Canyon. Topics also include healthy eating, inspirational quotes, and frugal living tips.
Currently Katalina is using a Christmas theme, so we know she likes to get into the spirit of the holidays! It is a bit slow to load, but is easy on the eyes. One thing that is nice about this blog is that it is not cluttered with a bunch of those 125 ads. There is advertising on the blog, but it is not overwhelming.
Looking through the archives it looks like Katalina is not a regular poster. She seems to have times when she posts regularly, followed by long spells of nothing at all. Definitely room for improvement there.
Overall, an easy reading blog with a variety of topics.
OK, I give up, did I fool you? KatalinaMau.com is actually my own personal blog! I thought I could be objective and review it, but maybe not! Of all my blogs, this is my favorite. Mostly because I write about whatever I like, and also because Google hates it! You see, about a year ago I got slapped for using Pay Per Post and having paid posts on my blog. Google took away my page rank and never gave it back. I don’t do paid posts anymore, so I know I could probably petition and get my page rank back, but I really don’t want to. Besides, maybe some day I will want to go back to Pay Per Post!
