Man In The Moon

Published by ~Kat~ at 4:45 pm under Entrecard, Funny Edit This

Man In The Moon I have always felt a little sorry for my husband. Raised by a single mom, he now resides with me, and at one time, our three beautiful daughters. (We still have three beautiful daughters, it is just that two of them don’t live at home anymore!) One man in a house of many women, and only one bathroom! So, even though I am female, I could relate to the author of Man In The Moon .

Man In The Moon is a funny blog about “a lone man in a female world of flowers, chick flicks, periods, and puberty… “ Every few days we get a new post on being a man in a woman’s world. Reading through the posts I have discovered that the best way to truly torture a man is to subject him to chick flicks. (The Secret Life of Bees ). I think what most men will take away from the blog is to not ask questions. You might find the answer will damage your mental health forever. (In Need of A Good Brainwashing ).

Even though it took me a few days to make the connection, I find the title of this blog very clever.  I also like the crudely doctored picture of the moon. It works well with the theme of the blog. I also like the fact the blogger writes about his daughter’s thong underwear and why there are coffee filters in the bathroom, he manages to be funny without resorting to junior high humor.  This is a blog I wouldn’t mind my 16 year old daughter to read. She might just learn a little bit about men!

Thanks for the awesome review, Kat. I thanked you on my site too, but I wanted to come here and thank you in person (so to speak.)

I’m glad you figured out the title. If anyone else has, they haven’t mentioned it yet. As for the logo graphic, I made that one to be short term and then decided to keep it. You’re right that it just seemed to fit the content. My eight-year-old daughter has offered to fix it several times since she could do it so much better. (She can too; she’s very artistic.)

By the way, I can’t wait to see my wife’s face when I tell her that someone out there is planning to teach their daughter about men by having her read my blog. (I should probably find the smelling salts first and brush up on my CPR.) She’s going to have quite a bit to say about that. I wish I could videotape the event and post it on my site. that will be something to see.
