Review Me Today!

Review Me Today is all about what I think. Mostly what I think about blogs and blogging, but if something else interesing pops up, I don’t mind going off topic.

So what are my qualifications for being a blog reviewer? I don’t really have any. I like everything there is about blogging. I like to write blogs (I have 6), I like to read blogs, and I like to discover new tips and tools that make blogging even more fun, and maybe a little profitable. I’m related to a published author. But offline I work as a tax accountant, which has nothing to do with writing and explains why my own posting can get pretty sparse between February and April.

I also really like to give my opionion on things. You might agree, you might disagree. That’s OK. I really enjoy reading your thoughts and comments! If we were all alike and shared the same opinions on everything life would be very boring.

This blog is mostly for reviewing interesting blogs that I find on the internet. All the reviews are provided totally free of charge, with no expectation of any returns. (Although I don’t complain if someone decides to give me a link back or write their own review of this blog!) This way I can be somewhat objective in my reviews.

For the most part, I don’t review blogs unless I can say something positive about them. I also don’t bother to review blogs that aren’t really blogs. This would include splogs and any other type of blogs that are mostly about advertising.

I prefer not to review very new blogs. If you have less than 10 or 20 posts there isn’t much to review yet. I also don’t bother with blogs that haven’t been updated in the last month, or those that are obviously mostly paid posts.

Almost every topic is Ok, but my mother reads my blog, so I won’t be reviewing any adult sites.

If you would like to be considered for a review, just comment on any post. Then be patient. I usually have a backlog of sites waiting to be reviewed. When I do review your blog I will leave a comment so you will know. Currently, if I decide not to review I blog, I don’t do anything. I might change my mind in the future.
