Here in the US tax season is finally over. For most people. Me, I filed an extension. I just couldn’t seem to get it all together in time.

Money, Debt and Taxes is a site about money. Mostly about taxes, but the blog also has posts on how to get out of debt, and a few on how to make more money. The blog features just one post per page. The feature post today is all about What To Do When You Can’t Pay Your Taxes. Fortunately I can pay my taxes, but the information was still interesting.

There is also an interesting series of posts on how to pay off your credit card debt. I think a lot of people could use that kind of advice!

The blog could use a better title, and a few pictures wouldn’t hurt. But it is a good resource for information about money.

Take a peak inside my mind….
Grumble, grumble, whine, whine. I am in a mood today. At least it is Friday and I don’t have to deal with that awful traffic tomorrow. I’m tired, I have a headache, and I have to go write a post for my stupid blog. No, it is not a stupid blog. It’s not a smart blog, but it is not a stupid blog. I want chocolate. I don’t have chocolate. So which blog should I review today?
I know!

Time passes while I look at picture after picture of smiles.
I see Obama smiling .
I see babies smiling.
I see sexy guys smiling.

And before you know it, I am smiling.  My headache is gone and I think my blog is great! I get to share happy blogs like this one with you. I still don’t have chocolate, but that’s OK!

Really, this is such a great idea for a blog. Just pictures of happy people smiling. Just for fun you can submit your own smile pictures, vote on your favorite pictures, and of course, make happy comments. Make sure to bookmark this site for the days when you need a smile.

Motherwise Cracks

Humor from the parenthood.

Ever since I reviewed The Man In The Moon , I have been looking for a funny blog that tells the same type of story, from the female perspective.  I think I may have found it in Motherwise Cracks.

You know that when you have a post titled, Time for School - Hold Onto Your Wallet that you are in for a funny read.  Follow that up with Snake Tails Under the Sink and you know you are going to settle in for the night and just read this one blog. Who cares about the news, or American Idol, or Lost?  (Or the dishes, or paying the bills, or that stack of papers sitting on your desk!) You’ve got a blog to read!

The blog itself is a 3 column on a very simple and quick loading theme.   There are lots of widgets in the sidebar, but load time was not a problem for me. And while the sidebars are pretty busy, there are no ads in the posts themselves.  So it is very easy to read the blog and ignore the ads.

Motherwise Cracks is a funny look at parenthood, from a mom with lots of experience. It sounds like her kids are older teens, so you know she has been through it all.
